Equipment required in the cement production process
Cement is produced at cement industry factories from mineral raw materials (the necessary chemical composition) by crushing, mixing and fine grinding, firing in ovens before sintering (less often before melting) to obtain cement clinker and fine grinding of clinker in mills. When grinding clinker, additives are usually introduced to improve the properties of cement or reduce its cost. The simplest types of cement, for example slag, are made by joint fine grinding of 2-3 ready-made components (blast furnace slag, lime, gypsum, etc.).
