GGBS Vertical Roller Mill Production Line Promotes Energy-Saving in Building Field

In order to speed up the popularization and application of high quality concrete and the development of energy-saving in building field, Housing and Urban-rural Development State, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the file of Several Ideas about Promotion and Application of High Quality Concrete. The file points out that, as an important green building materials, the high quality concrete, with excellent structural properties, mechanical properties, strong durability, high quality concrete should be used to improve engineering quality, prolong its life span, reduce the comprehensive cost of whole project.

So, how can we promote concrete building energy-saving while producing high quality concrete? According to Director of famous GGBS Research Center, slag powder, steel slag powder are good concrete admixtures. We mix 10 ~ 35% fine grinding slag powder in the concrete, with 0 ~ 20% ground steel slag powder, 0 ~ 9% silica fume, to replace 10 ~ 50% cement. Total cementitious material consumption is 380 ~ 550 kg/m³ to make C20 ~ C60 Concrete. This technology can manufacture strong characteristic cement, but also turn waste into treasure, and improves the comprehensive utilization of solid waste resources.

Relevant data shows that by the end of July 2014, more than 50 domestic cement plants, grinding stations, steel companies have invested to build slag and steel slag powder production lines with annual output of 200,000T to 1 million T. For example, Xinxiang Great Wall Machinery Co., Ltd.,/our company built annual capacity of 1 million T of slag/1.5 million T of cement production line and annual capacity of 1.5 million T of slag/steel slag line for Henan Meng Electricity, annual capacity of 1.5 million T of slag/steel slag line for Shanghai Baosteel- Ningbo New Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd., annual capacity of 600,000T of slag powder production line for Hebei Xinji Aosen Steel Company, etc.. Large number of mineral powder application will promote the development of high quality concrete.

Experts predict that by the end of "The Thirteenth Five Year Plan", high quality concrete mixed with slag powder and other solid waste resources to promote the development of concrete building energy conservation, recycling economy plays a major role.
